Day 6
Sept. 5, Sunday:
This will be a scenic cruising day!! A great day to sit on your private balcony and enjoy the views!!! Voyage of The Glaciers!!! Some of the best glacier viewing can be found in Glacier Bay and College Fjord – two of the most popular destinations. Hubbard Glacier is the largest tidewater glacier on the North American continent. It has been thickening and advancing toward the Gulf of Alaska since it was first mapped by the International Boundary Commission in 1895.

Day 7,
Sept. 6, Monday:
This is the day you’ve been waiting for!!! Our ship enters Glacier Bay, an area of spectacular beauty. As you cruise over the quiet waters, forests give way to a rugged landscape, rising to jagged, rocky peaks. Like frozen rivers, glaciers flow from the heights to the iceberg-strewn waters of the bay. Watch, awestruck, as pieces of ice crack off the glacial cliff and crash into the sea. Have your camera ready……….watch for the bald eagles and whales today.

*All meals and buffets are included once you get on board!!!

Day 8
Sept. 7: Tuesday:
Few one-time boomtowns retain the flavor of the gold rush days like Skagway. This gateway to the Klondike is preserved as a national historic park with its rustic boardwalk and frontier-style storefronts. Due to its geographic location, Skagway enjoys a drier climate compared to the rest of southeastern Alaska, with an average annual precipitation of only 22 inches.

*All meals and buffets are included once you get on board!!!

Day 9
Sept. 8: Wednesday:
Today we visit Juneau, Alaska’s capital city. Experience the days of the Gold Rush as you walk through the old haunts of the prospectors. Located at the foot of the grand mountain peaks on the Gastineau Channel, Juneau has the massive Mendenhall glacier and immense Juneau ice fields at its back door. Take time to shop in the rustic shops of Juneau!!!

*All meals and buffets are included once you get on board!!!

Day 10

Another delightful day awaits you in Ketchikan today. This southern-most Alaskan port city is known as Alaska's First City. Founded as a fishing camp, Ketchikan is built on steep hillsides and is billed as the salmon capital of the world. A The town is a quaint village just three miles long and three blocks wide. The waterfront of this picturesque port is built on stilts. Ketchikan is rich in Native Alaskan history, and a favorite place to visit is the Totem Heritage Cultural Center.
