Day 2:  Tuesday:  Aug 16: Breakfast will be at our hotel before starting the day by taking a step back in history and stepping onto the Titanic!!! The building is a half-scale model of the Titanic itself, giving you just a glimpse at the size and scale of the grand ship.  Each guest receives a Boarding Pass upon entering which represents one of the passengers or crew members and which provides a brief biography of their life and time aboard. Conclude your tour through the museum by discovering the fate of your assigned person in the Memorial Room. The self-guided walking tour will take you through multiple areas the ship and its passengers.   The cabins, hallways, rooms, parlors, and even the $1 million Grand Staircase have been meticulously recreated to give you an authentic feeling of what it would be like aboard the ship. Guests can touch a real iceberg, experience the chilling waters, walk down the Grand Staircase, walk upon the sloping decks and view the various rooms before going to Montana Mikes’ for Lunch.  Then hold on to your hat as we head to the Grand Country Complex to see the Comedy Jamboree before having dinner at the Grand Country Buffet!!!  If you enjoy a good comedy show then this is for you!!!!  Good music and good clean fun, what more could you ask for because 6 boys and 1 girl make up the group called The Haygoods!!!  The Haygoods bring the house down night after night with incredibly tight harmonies, innovative, energetic choreography, incredible special effects and amazing performance on over 20 different instruments!!!! BLD

Day 3:  Wednesday:  August 17:  After breakfast at our hotel we will head to the Dublin’s Irish Tenors & Celtic Ladies at The King’s Castle Theater!!!  This group of 5 of Ireland’s finest tenors and 4 of its loveliest ladies perform some of the best music of the 20th Century, including ballads with adult contemporary and classical that will appeal to all ages.  Lunch is at the Uptown Grill, one of our favorite lunch spots in Branson.  You will not only have great food to eat but be entertained while eating!!!  Our afternoon and evening is going to be spent at the Shepherd of the Hills.  We are going to visit Inspiration Tower, take the Homestead Tour and have the Roundup on the Trail!!!  The Roundup on the Trail is a Chuck Wagon Dinner Show featuring hilarious fun, fun stunts, tales of the old west and good cowboy music.  To top it off, dinner will be hand-prepared & cooked over an open fire!!!!  Texas Brisket or Turkey Breast, Trail Taters, Corn, Beans,  Hot Rolls and Dutch Oven Bread Puddin’ will fill any hungry tummy!!!!  Each night they bring to life the story of Harold Bell Wright’s immortal novel- The Shepherd of the Hills.  On a stage the size of a football field, you will see over 90 actors and actresses, over 20 horses, donkeys, mules, a flock of sheep, gunfights, first fights, a real cabin that is burned every night, a love story, and an incredible moral message that rings just as true today as it did in 1907 when Mr. Wright published the book.  A cast made up of local actors and actresses, many of which have been performing this story for over 40 years, will take you back to the turn of the 20th century in the Ozarks to experience the life, adventure and struggles of the folks that started the tourist destination we now know.  BLD

Day 4:  Thursday:  August 18:  Breakfast will be at our hotel before departing for home this morning.  This is a travel day as we head back north to Illinois but the fun isn’t over yet as we continue our fun aboard the coach. Remembering the good times we had and the new friends we have met…the perfect way to spend a warm summer day!!!  Arriving back to our cars in the early evening. B
