Day 5
Feb. 6, Sunday:
Today is an exciting day!! We will board our ship in the early afternoon and settle into our staterooms for the next 7 days and 6 nights. The Freedom has a huge variety of entertainment venues designed to accommodate each and every one ...no matter what your idea of a good time might be. Because when the sun goes down, the fun gets turned up a notch. The “Carnival Freedom” is a floating resort with large-scale amenities. You'll find a sprawling 15,000-square-foot health and beauty centre on the spa deck. A variety of entertainment venues, among them a piano bar, dance club, wine bar, sports bar, casino and show lounge all of which promises fun evenings for all of us. Dining options onboard the “Freedom” include a steakhouse supper club, a pair of two-level dining rooms, a casual poolside eatery, patisserie and sushi bar. Available around the clock are pizza, ice cream and complimentary stateroom service. Don’t forget the buffet and room service anytime you want it! Watch movies, concerts, news, sporting events, and even watch others shake their "groove thing" on Carnival Freedom’s Seaside Theatre. A 12'x22' jumbo-sized LED screen with a crystal-clear picture and a 70,000-watt, easy-to-hear sound system. Serenity Adult-Only Retreat! Watch & Love! Chill out in this kid-free oasis that's the hub of relaxation aboard Carnival Freedom. Take in the ocean view, hop into one of two hot tubs, or just kick back under the shade of a big umbrella. We are scheduled for early dining in the dining room this week.   BLD

Day 6
Feb. 7, Monday:
Our first Port of Call will be Key West!! You can take advantage of one of the many “shore excursions”, get off the ship and explore on your own or stay on the ship!!! Sit back in your lounge chair!! Get a cold drink! And enjoy the warm sun of the Keys. The average temperatures this week will be a high of mid 80’s and a low of 65.......now doesn’t that beat the cold of Illinois!! Tonight following dinner, there will be more entertainment for you to enjoy.   BLD

Day 7
Feb. 8, Tuesday:
Our first full day at Sea!! You will have a chance to take advantage of all the venues onboard the “Dream” today as we sail to the Eastern Caribbean. There are all kinds of activities to do along with a casino to try your luck. Be sure and read your daily “Capers” to find out what activities are planned for the day. Sleep in the comfort of your floating home away from home!   BLD

Day 8
Feb. 9, Wednesday:
While you were sleeping....we sailed to the Grand Caymans, a tropical paradise. Not all of the Cayman’s treasures are buried. Most of them are right in the open on this gorgeous island. Whether looking for jewels, crystal, perfume and fine wines in the shops, or soaking up the sun on the incredible beaches, you'll marvel at the wealth of history on this treasure-filled paradise. Crystalline rivers flow through impressive lowland jungles, home to a myriad of rare wildlife. Silky sand beaches, waving palms and colorful coral gardens are just part of Grand Cayman’s natural wonders. Take the City Tour or go biking thru the mountains....it’s all here for you to enjoy. Return to your ship for a wonderful dinner and an evening of entertainment.    BLD
