Itinerary:
13day/12 night

Day 1
Jan 22, Wednesday:

We will depart early morning for Chicago on one of Green River Lines coaches to fly from Chicago to Miami, FL where we will be transported to our home for the next 12 nights…the the Norwegian Sun. Norwegian Sun has it all, with 16 distinct dining options, 12 bars and lounges, a sprawling spa and always-exciting casino, golf driving nets and a movie theater will keep us very well entertained when we're not having the time of our lives on a Shore Excursion. We will experience “free style: dining which means: No set dining times, no assigned tables, a relaxed dress code and more restaurants than days in the week to chose from. We will serve a lite continental breakfast of rolls and juice on the coach going to the airport. We will arrive late morning and will be transported to the Norwegian Sun, our home for the next 12 days. A great lunch will be waiting on us when we arrive!!!

Day 2 & 3
Jan 23, Thursday & Friday:

These will be “sea days” as we sail towards our first port of Cartagena, Colombia. Relax and enjoy the sites or read a good book, but better yet, join in on the activities the ships cruise director will have planned. The Spa is a good retreat, or try your luck at the casino and don’t forget the most important part of a cruise…..the food!!! There will be something for everyone to do while we enjoy the “sea days”.

Day 4
Jan 25: Saturday:

Our first “port of call” will be Cartagena, Colombia! There will be many different offerings of shore excursions from a City Tour, sailing on an old Spanish Galleon and even a “Mud Bath” and then jumping into a nearby fresh water lake to rinse off and many more choices for you to make if you wish. But you don’t have to even get off the ship if you don’t want.

Day 5
Jan 26: Sunday:

Aruba!!! Where the Dutch influence still lingers on this balmy Caribbean island, it was part of the former Netherlands Antilles until its independence in 1986. Aruba is a contrast: the island's arid interior is dotted with cactus and windswept divi-divi trees while secluded coves and sandy beaches make up its coast. Aruba's long and colorful heritage is reflected in its dialect. Called Papiamento, it is a tongue that combines elements of Spanish, French, Portuguese, Dutch, African and English. Many different excursions if you want to see the island.

Day 6
Jan 27, Monday:

Curacao!!!! Lying some 40 miles off Venezuela; Curacao boasts a landscape that is dramatic, stark, and volcanic. In contrast, Willemstad, the capital, seems like a cozy Dutch haven with its neat row houses. And while those gabled and tiled roofs illustrate the island's heritage, the bright, pastel houses speak pure Caribbean. Islanders themselves reflect this same colorful contrast: over 50 different nationalities have come to call Curacao their home. Great adventures await you in this charming island!!!

Day 7
Jan 28, Tuesday:

It’s a Sea Day!!! Enjoy yourself as we cruise across the Caribbean and feel the warm sunshine!! Now is a good time for a massage, visit Teatime, read a book or attend one of the many shows the crew will provide. And don’t forget to enjoy the food!!!!

Day 8
Jan 29, Wednesday:

St Maarten!!! Get two countries for the price of one!! St Maarten is half Dutch and half French. Take a city tour and explore both sides of this amazing country. There is amazing shopping and tours by the Sea.

Day 9
Jan 30: Thursday:

Tortola!!! Experience the beauty of Tortola. Swim or stroll the white-sand beaches, explore ancient ruins or our delectable local cuisine, or drop anchor and rock with the rhythm of the azure ocean. In Tortola, the largest island of the BVI chain, there’s a variety of Caribbean activities to indulge in. With a dazzling selection of merchandise and with the Colombian Emeralds, the shopping is great!!

Day 10
Jan 31, Friday:

St Thomas! There will many different offerings of shore excursions from a City Tour, sail along Skyline Drive for beautiful views of Charlotte Amalie harbor, the Caribbean Sea, British Virgin Islands and Megan’s Bay, rated one of the top ten beaches in the world. Visit Blackbeard’s Castle or take a seven-minute tram ride up to Paradise Point, 700 feet above sea level, for one of the most spectacular views of the harbor overlooking the cruise ships and downtown Charlotte Amalie and their famous “Bushwhacker” drink. But you don’t have to even get off the ship; there is plenty to do on board.

Day 11 & 12
Feb 1 & 2, Saturday & Sunday:

These will be “sea days” as we sail towards our home port of Miami, Fl.
