Our overnight accommodations will be at the Ramada Limited in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. Our first stop for the day will be at Lehman’s Danish Bakery with a tour and the history of the “Kringles”! You will be able to see how they are made do some sampling and purchasing! We are then moving on to our next stop for a tour of a local Danish Church and lunch at the Ole Cheese Shop. (You can’t go to Wisconsin without a cheese stop) Upon completing our morning and afternoon calorie intake we head off to Fred Hermes’ basement for a treat you won’t likely forget. He will introduce you to a 2,500 pipe Wurlitzer organ built in 1926.

Grab your hair net because the next stop is a good old fashion hay rack ride out into the orchards at Apple Holler. Here you will be able to pick a peck of perky apples! They have conveniently placed their gift shop there for you to cruise through! We return to the hotel for clean up and small amount of rest before we head back to Apple Holler for wine and cheese tasting followed by dinner. We have made reservations for you at the theater to see “ Funny You Don’t Look Like a Grandma”.

The next morning you are greeted by a continental breakfast and we pack up and head to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. We blow into town for the “Ocktoberfest” where you will be free to roam downtown at the craft booths, shops, entertainment and food booths! Just before you think your poor aching feet can’t take anything else we will board the “Ice Cream Social Boat Tour” around beautiful Lake Geneva. Here you will all be treated to an ice cream sundae as we are taken around the lake for a narrative cruise. After our completion of our boat cruise we will board our motor coach and head for home.

You can finally put up your feet, relax and enjoy a chick flick complete with a non-caloric snack item!
