Day 1
Monday, Oct. 11
We depart early this morning to begin our journey to Indiana and the annual Covered Bridge Festival. We will travel through Indiana’s colorful fall landscape on our way to Rockville. The Town Square will have many venders, tempting food stands and crafts. This is also the location of the Covered Bridge Tours. The tour will take about 3 hours and runs continuously all day long. We have not included this into our tour, due to the fact many people are more interested in the shopping, but you will have plenty of time to take the tour if you wish. We will spend the afternoon browsing the different vendors and being amazed at all the different items for sale. Later in the afternoon we will depart for our hotel, located in Marshall, IN, in Turkey Run State Park. Turkey Run Inn is nestled inside Turkey Run State Park where you can enjoy nature’s best. Turkey Run Inn features inn rooms and cabins along with an indoor heated pool to be enjoyed all year long. Turkey Run Inn’s “Narrows Restaurant” is located right in the hotel and that is where we will have breakfast and dinner while we are there. Relax in front of the fireplace after a hike on Turkey Run State Park’s picturesque fourteen miles of challenging trails or maybe just sit and relax after a full day shopping at the Covered Bridge Festival. If activities like reading or playing games in our spacious wooden lobby don’t suit you, bring your laptop & surf the Web with their free high-speed wireless Internet. Turkey Run Inn is located in Parke County, the covered bridge capital of the world. We will get back in plenty of time to freshen up before our included buffet dinner. After dinner enjoy a relaxing swim, a game of cards, enjoying the outside or just relaxing with friends. BD

Day 2
Tuesday, Oct. 12
This morning, following a full buffet breakfast, we will journey from Marshall to Mansfield. We will visit the Flea Markets and enjoy seeing what the venders have to offer along the way. But wait! Our adventure isn’t over yet, our next stop will be Bridgeton, another town filled with many venders and two indoor market places to shop. Another highlight will be the Old Bridgeton Mill, one of the few still operating. A late afternoon return to our hotel and dinner will top our day of shopping off. BD

Day 3
Wednesday, Oct. 13
Start off the day with a full buffet breakfast before we board our coach and enjoy a scenic drive to the town of Rockville and Billy Creek Village. Billy Creek Village is a historical town rebuilt with many of its original old buildings and covered bridges. There will plenty of time to search for more treasures before departing for home after lunch, arriving back in the late afternoon. B
