Day 1
Wed: Oct 14:   Board our deluxe motor coach, relax and enjoy the view as we head east to Ashtabula, OH for our overnight stay at the Hampton Inn.  B

Day 2
Thur: Oct 15:  Enjoy breakfast at our hotel with your new friends before boarding the bus as we travel thru Pennsylvania , New York and Vermont.  We will be in Killington, VT in the late afternoon.  Dinner tonight will be a treat featuring a Vermont Chef.  He will demonstrate how to prepare a gourmet dinner at the Café   Provence.  And the best part…we get to eat what they fix!!!!  Learn cooking tips, recipes and then time to walk and browse the shops of Brandon, VT.   BD

Day 3
Friday: Oct 16:  Breakfast will be at our hotel before a full day of activities.  We will meet our step on guide a the hotel for a day of touring starting with the Rock of Ages.  Our lunch will be at the Trapp Family Lodge where we will learn about the “Sound of Music” Family. After lunch its a short drive to the Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory and a tour on how the ice cream is made along with some good samples.  Dinner will be on the way to our hotel. BL

Day 4
Saturday: Oct 17:  Following breakfast in our hotel, we will depart on a beautiful drive to visit the Quechee Gorge Village, one of the premier shopping attractions in the state of Vermont.  It features antiques, collectibles and craft dealers like Cabot Quechee Store, Danforth Pewter, Vermont Toy & Train Museum, Route 4 Glassblowing Studio and so many more.    “One Taste” and you’ll see why Cabot was voted the “Best Cheddar in the World!!!!  You will be able to sample their entire selection of award-winning cheeses, snappy salsas, tangy mustards and sweet jams to smoked meats, maple syrup or hot sauces.  Also browse their selection of fine wines and micro-beers from Vermont and around the world.  Lunch will be on our own in North Woodstock, NH.  Now its on to Bethlehem, NH that is best known for the “Christmas Tree Farm”.  The farm handpicks their 5,000 Christmas trees for sale annually and FED EX them to people all over the world.   Some of the best maple syrup is made right here in Bethlehem and we are going to be a part of a tasting!!!!  And also going to experience the Infamous Pickles!!!  These are sour pickles, made from a special recipe that you have after each sample of syrup and it helps to all the sweetness away so you can sample more syrup.  We will return to our hotel, the Mountain Club at Loon, Lincoln, NH.    Your dinner will be included tonight at one of the local restaurants. BD

Day 5
Sunday: Oct 18:  Today we travel from North Conway to Camden, ME.  We will have lunch in Camden before taking a guided tour of Camden and Rockport, ME.  Be sure to have your camera ready for a photo stop atop Mt. Battie in Camden Hills State Park where the sweeping views of Penobascot Bay and the surrounding islands.  We continue on to Bar Harbor where we will check into the Acadia Inn hotel, our home for the next two nights.  It is located across the street from the ocean and one mile from Bar Harbor Village.  Dinner will be included in downtown Bar Harbor.  BD

Day 6
Monday:  Oct 19:  Breakfast will be in our hotel before starting our day with our step-on-guide for the day.  Our guide will take us on a tour of Bar Harbor and the Acadia National Park.  This is the first National Park founded east of the Mississippi where you will see 9 mountains over 1000 feet high, stone bridges, lake, ponds, trails and carriage roads.  We will travel the entire Park Loop road with stops at Cadillac Mountain, Thunder Hole on Ocean Drive and Sieru De Mont Springs Wild Gardens of Acadia.  We will also see and learn about the rich and famous visitors who built summer cottages in Bar Harbor.  We will then have free time in downtown Bar Harbor to visit the shops, boutiques and galleries.  Don’t forget to take time to have some lunch and a dish of the their famous blueberry ice cream!!!  After lunch we will take a Nature Cruise , which has inside heated seating and outside decks, and learn about the sea life of the area.  A trip to the Bar Harbor Oceanaruim will teach us about the lobster fishing and see how baby lobsters are raised in the lobster hatchery.  Dinner tonight will be a Lobster-Bake Dinner!!!  BD

Day 7
Tuesday:  Oct 20:  Today is a driving day as we travel from Bar Harbor, ME to outside of Philadephia, PA to spend the night at a Hampton Inn.  Dinner will be near the hotel tonight.  B
                                                                                         
Day 8:  Wednesday:  Oct 21:  We will have breakfast in our hotel before travel thru Pennsylavia, to Cleveland, OH and arriving at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame mid-after noon!!!  After seeing the sites of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame we will spend the night outside of Cleveland where we will enjoy our last dinner together.  BD

Day 9:  Thursday:   Oct 22:  Breakfast will be in our hotel before departing for home. We will pass the day remembering all the good times and great friends we have met on our Fall Foliage Trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.  We will arrive back home in the early evening.  B
