Day 1
October 9, Sunday:
We will begin our New England Fall Foliage adventure today as we drive through Illinois, Indiana and Ohio to Erie, PA where we will spend the night at the Hampton Inn.     B

Day 2
October 10, Monday:
It will be a short drive today to Niagara Falls, NY where we will enjoy the Falls together on the Maid of the Mist. You will have a Discovery Pass that will let you enjoy several of the sites around the Falls including the Cave of the Wind, Niagara: Legends of the Adventure Theater, The Aquarium of Niagara and the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center. You will have free transportation all day long on the Niagara State Park Trolley. After an afternoon of exploring, we will check into the Comfort Inn “The Pointe”. There is a Hard Rock Café next door plus other restaurants for you to enjoy. The Seneca Niagara Casino is a short 3 block walk if you want to try your luck!!     B
Day 3
October 11, Tuesday:
Breakfast at the hotel before we start our journey to Cape Cod. We will travel through New York and MA on our way to Yarmouth, MA and the Ambassador Inn & Suites. The Ambassador Inn will be our home for the next three nights. The hotel is centrally located near all the sites we are going to be visiting over the next three days. We will be joined by our local step-on-guide for a festive welcome reception before having dinner at the hotel.     BD
Day 4
October 12, Wednesday:
Breakfast in the hotel before we begin touring the outer Cape today. Starting with the seaside village of Chatham with a picture stop at the Chatham Light House before continuing on to the Cape Cod National Seashore for spectacular views off the cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. In Provincetown, visit Race Point beach and Race Point Light House followed by free time to browse around town with all its artistic and eclectic shops and have some lunch. This afternoon, be sure to bring your cameras as we embark on an exciting Whale Watch Cruise!!! Finish the day with a special tour and wine tasting at Truro Vineyards!!! We will put the finishing touch to a great day with dinner at a special restaurant.       BD

Day 5
October 13, Thursday:
Breakfast in the hotel before we start our historic tour of Sandwich, the Cape’s oldest town. View historic landmarks followed by time strolling through the village and taking a sip from the “fountain of youth”!! Travel along the picturesque Route 6A, historically known as the Old Kings Highway. View many of the old sea captains homes and quaint villages as we make our way to Sesuit Harbor for a scenic cruise aboard the SS Lobster Roll. Relax and enjoy the spectacular views of Cape Cod Bay while enjoying our delicious lobster roll luncheon!! This afternoon, tour Hyannis with a picture stop at the Kennedy Memorial and Korean War Memorial overlooking beautiful Veterans Beach. Finish with a visit to the JFK Museum which captures the years JFK spent at the family compound in Hyannis Port with his family and friends. Enjoy a great dinner at another of Cape Cod’s restaurants.       BLD


Day 6
October 14, Friday:
Breakfast in the hotel before we depart for Boston. En-route, we will enjoy a brief tour of Plymouth, with views of the Mayflower, Plymouth Rock and Plymouth Harbor. Arrive in Boston for a guided tour of this Historic and cultural city known fondly as “Bean Town”. Our tour will take us along the Freedom Trail enjoying a windshield tour of such sites as the USS Constitution, the Old South Meeting House, the old State House, and the beautiful Boston Common-the oldest public garden in America. We’ll spend some time at Faneuil Hall fo, with lunch on your own and time to browse through the shops. The afternoon, enjoy a walking tour through the North End, with views of the Old Church and Paul Revere’s home. We will finish with a delicious dinner at one of the North End’s famous Italian restaurants. We will be checking into the Hilton Garden Inn in Burlington, MA for our home away from home tonight.      BD


Day 7
October 15, Saturday:
Enjoy breakfast in the hotel before we start our journey back to Illinois. This day will take us back into New York and to the home of the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY. We will arrive late afternoon in Corning and will enjoy a nice dinner before relaxing in our rooms at the Hampton Inn.       BD


Day 8
October 16, Sunday:
Breakfast in the hotel before we depart for the Corning Museum of Glass. Experience live, narrated glass demonstrations all day and see how glass has changed the world in the hands-on Innovation Center. You can explore the world’s best glass collection, showcasing 35 centuries of glass art, history and technology from ancient to contemporary times. Don’t forget to enjoy the great shopping in the gift shop from the beautiful to the practical for your kitchen!!! Before we depart, we will enjoy a good hot lunch in their café!! We will be staying in Streetsboro, OH at the Hampton Inn tonight.       BL


Day 9
October 17, Monday:
Breakfast before we depart in the hotel. This will be a riding day as we travel back through Ohio, Indiana and Illinois as our adventure comes to an end. We’ve had good times and made new friends and we hope everyone had a great time on our New England Fall Foliage Adventure!!!!       B
