Due to the cancel policies our vendors are now issuing, we have to change our policy on refunds

We used to be able to refund almost all monies no matter when you cancelled, but with the economy, our vendors do not refund monies to us when you cancel within 30 days before your departure.  This includes hotels, airlines, cruise lines, show tickets, pre-arranged tours, step on guides and even some of our restaurants.  Our trip protection that we offer is through Travel Insure International which offers affordable group rates and individual plans.

Cancellation/Refunds – For emergency cancellation the evening before or that morning of a trip, please call and leave a message at the office or call the emergency number, (815)-228-4703 and let Doug know your name, what trip you were on and your departure date.

Cancellation before the 30 day deadline – If you need to cancel and do before the 30 day before departure deadline, there will be no processing fees.

Travelers on our trips need to be able to negotiate small inclines, stairs or walking distances unassisted.  Tour escorts, motorcoach drivers, and venue hosts cannot physicallly lift or assist travekers into transportation vehicles.  Green River Lines required passengers needing assistance, to be accompanied by a companion(s) who is totally capable of providing assistance as needed.

Refrigerated Medications – If you require refrigerated or cooled medication, it is your responsibility to acquire the appropriate means of cooling.  Some, but not all hotel facilities have refrigerators available to patrons.  If you so require a refrigerator in your room please make arrangements with your escort 2 weeks prior to departure.

Service Animals – Service animals are allowed on Green River Lines’ coaches IF they are certified with papers and are strictly for the passenger that has booked the tour or day trip.  The service animal is the responsibility of its owner and must be under the control of its owner at all times by leash, harness, or carrier.  The service animal may not travel in the aisle or occupy a seat, but must remain strictly within the customer’s space.

Please Note – Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.  Animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under ADA.  Green River Lines reserves the right to refuse passage to any service animal that poses a direct threat to the health and safety of another customer or Green River Lines personnel.
