Glen and Arlene Hansen started a small charter company in Walnut, IL. Since then, we have expanded and moved to our current location in Peru, IL with a total of 8 charter busses. Doug and Jody Hansen purchased the company from his parents and are the current owners today. They run the company with the same care and attention Glen and Arlene started 40 years ago.
Welcome to Green River Lines – In 1980, Glen and Arlene started a small bus charter company in Walnut, IL with a fleet of 3 busses. In 2000, we expanded and moved to our current location in Peru and expanded our fleet to 8 full size motor coaches.
In 2007 – Doug and Jody Hansen purchased the company from Doug’s parents and are the current owners today. Doug and Jody are the proud parents of Emily and Avery who reside in Princeton, IL.
Doug is carrying on his parent’s wishes to provide affordable and memorable vacations to all that travel with Green River Lines. The company motto is to make everyone feel like family!
The office staff and drivers have been with Green River Lines starting back to 2000. As you can see we have been blessed to retain friendly and professional staff for many years.
